Each year Hume Races to raise funds to help End MS and assist Red Door Women’s Shelter here in Toronto.
Over the past ten years we have worked hard and raised over $225,000 for these two Charities.
Months of planning, paperwork and preparation go into to getting ready for a road rally like Targa NL. This marathon of a race is one of only three like it in the world. We run 40 races over six days in September, covering 1,200 kilometers of winding Newfoundland roads paved with nature’s beauty and flanked by the glorious Atlantic Ocean.
We are proud to say we have earned Many 1st, 2nd and 3rd place podium finishes in this event over the past ten years. Every year you can follow our progress daily by logging onto our website www.humemediainc.com in Mid September.
It is important to note the charitable sector in Canada has become challenged financially and is more competitive today than ever before.
We at Hume expense a great deal of our own capital and time each year preparing for and participating in this event. However, 100% of all funds collected from our donors and sponsors are given to MS Canada and The Red Door Family Shelter.
